Morbius Delayed to April 2022

Morbius has been pushed back from January 28, 2022, to April 1, 2022, by Sony Pictures.

Jared Leto plays the anti-hero, Dr. Michael Morbius, in Morbius. He is desperate to rescue himself and others after being diagnosed with a rare blood ailment, and while he appears to have found a treatment, it comes at a terrible cost, and “a darkness inside him is unleashed.”fandom

Morbius is no new to delays; the Marvel and Sony feature was supposed to hit theaters on July 31, 2020, but it was pushed again. Morbius was postponed from March 2021 to October 2021 to January 21, 2022, January 28, 2022, and now April 1, 2022 because to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Morbius, directed by Daniel Espinosa of Life, stars Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

Sharpless is in charge of the screenplay and story. Along with Leto, the ensemble includes Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Magrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.

Many people are curious as to which universe Morbius belongs to. Following the second Morbius trailer, which featured two references to Venom, Oscorp Tower, The Daily Bugle, Spider-Man graffiti, and even an appearance by Michael Keaton’s Vulture – who is part of the MCU via Spider-Man: Homecoming – this question became even more.
